Friendly place with lots going on. Cheap beer, especially if you are a member. Enjoyable night out.

Andy Blair I think if you are accurate about your experience the facts are: As advertised the food was included in the cost for those people who were paying to play in the quiz. You were asked if you wanted to join in the quiz and you did not wish to take part. You were asked if you would like a to buy a raffle ticket you declined. You were made very welcome in a members club and invited to join in with the events. You declined. You stayed about two hours at £2.60 pint I find your claim that you spent hundreds very hard to believe.

Absolutely shocking if your not a local DONT GO IN they will take your money with pleasure but will bring free food out and then charge you for a burger and bun after putting nearly 100 pound over the bar! And pool table and paying for raffle and not participating in it was looking to buy a property in the town but been well put off thank God seen the true hospitality

Live band days (some Sundays) my personal favourite, but great to know theres live singer artists on every Saturday night chance to dance and weekly bingo Mon Wed Sun (theres member priviledges too)
