I bought a 2nd hand Citroen Dispatch from this dealership. I was a little nervous as I am based in Cornwall and was buying from an online description. Mark was very straightforward to deal with and offered a very practical warranty which somewhat alleviated my concerns about buying a vehicle from a different geographic location. I travelled to Boroughbridge to test drive the vehicle and complete the deal. There were a couple of minor problems with the vehicle but these have been swiftly corrected under the terms of the warranty offered by Charlton's. They have been extremely helpful and honourable to deal with, which is so very refreshing. Happy to rate 5 stars. Also, happy to recommend buying from a distance with this dealership.

I recently purchased an 18 plate Skoda Octavia Estate through Charltons; I dealt with Matthew who was a pleasure to do business with and very helpful. We recently purchased a used Ford Tourneo Connect from Chorltons of Boroughbridge. We can honestly say that this has been our most pleasant car buying experience ever due to the excellent service we received. We mainly dealt with Matthew, but all the team have been extremely friendly, helpful, honest and patient throughout. We don't live local so initial communications via phone, videos and emails gave us the confidence that the 100 mile round trip would be worth making...and it definitely was. Fantastic level of service, very professional, and the car is wonderful. I recently purchased a second hand Audi A4 from here, dealing with Mark. Seemed a nice place at first, reviews from other people were good but the service I received wasn't very good. I did a general check of a vehicle I was going to purchase and found various things that the (assuming manager) didn't know of and had no idea how they had happened. When pointing out the issues in the photos, with the wheel issue, I got no response but with the wing mirror issue, the manager said "you're being thorough" which I was quite surprised at considering it was quite an obvious issue which took me all of about 5 minutes to see, but somehow this guy didn't know about it. Not the best impression and definitely not what I was expecting considering the reviews from other people which were mostly/nearly all good.
