Tom is an absolute gent. My daughter got her car but we live about 30 miles away (60 mile round trip). When the car had an electrical fault a few weeks in, Tom worked with us to get it fixed which took his preferred garage three tries. Not his fault but he came, collected and delivered the car each time. You can’t buy that sort of service. And more over, during the period the poor chap was admitted to hospital and had his family cover some of the trips. Absolutely delighted with the car AND the above and beyond service.

Would you buy a used car off this man? We did and We did again! Such nice people who’ve subsequently helped with looking after us on a number of occasions. Really nice. Would recommend.

Brought a car off tom and from day one things where going wrong with car as it was lockdown we understood that parts where hard to get hold thinking the car would be put right when things became the new normal. Now left with a car with no thermostat in it, over heating nasty smell in car and horrible sound from heating. Not a reliable car as I explained I needed as I have a child with serious health conditions so loads of miles done in car going backwards and forwards to hospitals weekly! Would definitely not recommend this garage at all totally saw me coming.

I bought a landrover discovery from here and was very pleased tom did everything I asked when I'd had it a week I noticed some rust on the inner wings i contacted tom he couldn't be more helpful and we arranged to drop the car off at his garage where all the work was completed by his mechanic to a very high standard i couldn't be more happy i have dealt with many garages over the years and tom and poplar motors has got be the best I have ever bought a car from I would highly recommend

Bought a used car on fri 4th April 2018 under a month's warranty and 3 month's mot and was told a 12 month's mot would be put on the car I needed to use it that weekend for work so drove it away that day and was booked in for the tues after the bank holiday for mot and service. That weekend the power steering went I phoned Tom on Sat to explain he came to my house 9pm that night to diagnose the problem he went to the service station to buy power steering fluid and determined it was the power steering switch which had gone and told us he would replace it. On bank holiday Mon Tom got the AA out to the car and they did a temporary fix on it to get us to Tom on tues morning so it could be fixed put through mot and serviced. Tom phoned me Wed to inform me the part would arrive until thurs. The mot failed on handbrake cable which Tom replaced and a loose bracket on front exhaust which he also replaced. On thurs the power steering switch was replaced and the car was fully serviced.Tom returned the car to me Thursday teatime with the 12 month mot certificate. We have had no problems since and the car is running perfectly. Tom could not have done more for us and I would reccomend him to anyone. I am a more than happy customer thanks Tom I will definitely be back.
