The products in the bakery are delicious, in particular the chocolate éclairs but a female worker who mops the floors is very unfriendly and rude. We don't live in the area but have visited a few times and when she is moving the chairs and mopping the floors she treated us all with contempt. It's happened twice and has lost all 4 of us as customers. If you don't want people in your shop when mopping up, then close to do it.

Amazing bakery. Called in late Saturday afternoon, bought lovely treats, had a fabulous beef and onion and beef and horseradish sandwich and pork pies, which by the way were delicious. Thank you for lookimg after us and tye bread was superb. Richard and Stevie xx

Food delicious staff lovely part from the one cleaning the glass she was a right misery hygiene poor picking up food with hands then using till not nice to see should be using tongs or gloves while handling food basic hygiene I am surprised they get away with it

We’ve popped in a few times since moving to the area and had so many delicious treats from Havenhands. We also recently had an amazing birthday cake made by them which went down a treat, it was chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! The shop is always clean and fresh, the staff are lovely and helpful and the baked goods speak for themselves! Best bakery around! If you’re in the area go get something tasty from them!

I have been going to Havenhands for many years on a regular weekly basis, they have always been consistently excellent in everything they do, it is without any shadow of doubt my favourite bakery in Yorkshire. The level of service that they provide as well as the quality of the food they produce is second to none. All of the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful, no request is ever too much to ask for the top-tier team! I would certainly recommend them to everyone and will keep visiting for the indefinite future 👌

Me and my partner love this bakery. My partner usually gets a cheese and bacon parcel on his way to work whilst it’s still warm. The only thing is they only make iced fingers 2 days a week and would love if they did them more often as they clearly sell fast. Edit to answer your reply: I’ve still given a good and fair review in my opinion. Any time I have asked this option has not been given to me. I don’t think the business would close over iced fingers. Like I said previously we love the bakery which is why it’s a shame sometimes we can’t always get everything we want as we don’t want to have to go anywhere else.

A superb bakery with a very friendly team and fabulously fresh, quality products - bread, cakes, biscuits and savouries. Their takeaway range is excellent. It's a pleasure to shop here and it is our local "go-to" bakers. Highly recommended.

Best bakery around! Been coming for years and can never fault them, great selection on freshly baked goods and treats all day everyday. Staff are superb and helpful.
